The Circle Jerks are a legendary California punk band from the 1980s and they still exist in some form today. The “Skanker” was a slam dancing punk rocker who graced their album covers and merchandise as their mascot icon. I styled this sculpture after the artwork on the back cover of the “Wild In The Streets” album. This is my most commented on statue – I get emails all the time from people wanting to buy it. Unfortunately, I no longer own it. Perhaps someday someone will hire me to re-create it so I can take more comprehensive photos.
