METAL HELL BARBARIAN
A logo icon / mascot for the METAL HELL RECORDS label, inspired by the Savage Sword of Conan comics that I read as a kid. I was never much for superheroes but I liked those old oversized Marvel Conan Magazines. Many of the best fantasy illustrators of the time did single page B/W graphics in them which, being called “magazines” allowed them to depict more graphic images than regular smaller sized “comics” which fell under the Comics Code Authority.
