The Fabricator General is the leader of the Martian Cult Mechanicus in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The mechanicus priests are charged with attempting to maintain the decaying technology of the Imperium with arcane semi-religious ritual and only a partial knowledge of the workings of the machines they repair. To extend their lifespans and as acts of devotion to their machine god the Omnissiah, the members of the adeptus mechanicus regularly exchange their body parts for cybernetic enhancements and replacements. Eventually becoming a living brain inside cobbled together bio-mechanical constructs of varying shapes and sizes.
This statue was begun in polymer clay and was completed with Aves Apoxie and a huge variety of mixed media materials from discarded syringes, candy box lids, watch parts, pipe fittings and things I can only imagine what they were at first along with many parts custom made from styrene plastic sheet and tubes. The cable arm tentacles are all fully poseable as well as the front arms of the small detachable spider drone.
